About
Charles Bedard is an operator turned valuation strategist who helps founder-led companies become buyer-ready long before a transaction is on the table. He built his career inside real businesses, leading operations, rebuilding corporate development functions, and guiding companies through exits where precision, clarity, and defensible metrics determined whether a deal moved forward. Over time, founders began pulling him into conversations earlier, not to broker transactions, but to fix the strategic and analytical gaps that derail them: KPIs that do not match the narrative, financials that do not hold up under buyer review, and stories that lack market benchmarks.
Today, Charles focuses on helping leaders build companies that could sell tomorrow, even if they never plan to. His work centers on buyer-grade rigor. He tightens the metrics that drive valuation, aligns the strategic story with real operational performance, and prepares the business for buyer scrutiny as well as stronger internal decision-making. His strength comes from deep operational experience combined with private equity standards of analysis. He has supported multiple exits, advised founders through complex growth decisions, and built the valuation frameworks and KPI systems used by CEOs who want to understand, defend, and expand the value they have created.
He is a Certified M&A Advisor and Certified Exit Planning Advisor, with an MBA from TCU and a BA from Southwestern University. More importantly, he has spent his career in the rooms where real deals either come together or fall apart. His clients work with him because they want someone who sees around corners, who understands how buyers think, and who can help them build a company worthy of a premium valuation.
